STOP ELDER ABUSE ALERT

Description: Millions of senior citizens are abused each year in the U.S., and most cases are never reported (UC Irvine Release June 1, 2010 News). Elder abuse is preventable, “but prevention requires education and public awareness of the warning signs” (Dr. Laura Mosqueda UC Irvine).
The time has come for in home care providers to participate in exposing this heinous crime, and assist in getting the criminals prosecuted. We must be the leaders in the home care industry who stand up and let the elderly in our communities know that we are there to protect them.
